Advisory Board

• The Library Board consists of eight members; four members are appointed by the Bryan City Council and four are appointed by the College Station City Council.

Library Staff

• Community Librarian Clara Mounce presides over the entire Bryan+College Station Public Library System, which is made up of the Bryan Public Library, the Larry J. Ringer Public Library, and the Carnegie Center of Brazos Valley History.

Library Cards

• To get a library card, come to the Circulation Desk with a photo ID and something with your local address (driver's license, check, mail, lease). Read our library card policy for more information about how to obtain a card for yourself or your child.

Friends of the Library

• The Friends of the Bryan+College Station Public Library System is a nonprofit organization that helps support the library. The Friends are the primary source of funding for the summer reading clubs and for storytime. Read about how to become a friend and about our book sales.

Volunteers

• If you are interested in volunteering, please speak with a branch manager or the Community Librarian. If you are interested in helping with children’s activities, you may also check with the youth services librarians at either the Bryan Public Library or the Larry J. Ringer Public Library. We especially need teen volunteers to help with the Children's Summer Reading Club, so check back with us in May.
