computers.

Additional Database Information
eAudioBooks
In conjunction with Recorded Books and NetLibrary, the library system now has access to over 2,900
downloadable audiobooks. Each month over 30 new books are added to the collection.
Listen to them online on your computer or play them on your portable mp3 player (iPods included).
Please note that you can not burn these to a CD. To transfer from a computer to a portable device,
you will need to use a USB flash drive or cables that connect your portable device to your computer.
To log in, go to either http://librad1.bryantx.gov:2048/ or
http://audiobooks.bcslibrary.org:2048/. Type in your library card number and PIN,
and click Login. If you do not know your PIN or if your account has expired, you must come in and
reset your information before you can go any further. Follow the instructions on the menu
page.
If it is your first time to log in, choose the option for a first time user. You then should be taken
to the Netlibrary home page. From there, create a free account, and in the future, you can go
directly to www.netlibrary.com and log in
using the account you created. You can also use the Netlibrary Media Center program that can
be installed on your computer (Windows only).
You can also use the TexShare databases to access our collection of eAudiobooks. Go to
www.texshare.edu/bcslibrary/index.php3, and log in using the TexShare username
and password for our library system. Select the NetLibrary database. From here, create a free
account as shown above if you have not already done so.
Mac and iPod users: Some of the eAudiobooks say "WMA", and some say "mp3". If you are using an
iPod or Apple computer, you can only use the mp3 version. Simple search and browse will work on
Safari, but the advanced search (like being able to limit it to mp3 only) will not. If you have a
Mac, you will need to do the manual download (and do not use Netlibrary Media Center; it is
Windows only) of the mp3. After you download the mp3 file, change the name. When you download
it, it will say "filename.mp3.html". You need to change that to just say "filename.mp3" in order for
iTunes to play it. Remember to take off the ".html" and tell your computer to use
".mp3" in order to play on a Mac.
Technical Support is available 24 hours per day, Monday through Friday, and from 8:00 a.m. to
4:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on Saturday and Sunday, via 1-800-758-5995. You may also use
the Open a Case form where you can create a case at any time
(http://support.ebscohost.com/contact/askus.php) or send an email to
support@ebsco.com.
