What is hoopla digital?
Hoopla Digital is a streaming service that allows you to enjoy audiobooks, eBooks, comics and manga, music, movies, magazines, TV including BingePass to certain shows, all available 24/7 with no holds and no waiting. With over 1.5 million titles, including “New York Times” bestsellers available instantly and more being added each week, hoopla truly has something for everyone.
How many formats does hoopla have and what is the loan period?
There are the seven formats and borrow times:
- Audiobook, eBook & Comic
- 21 days
- BingePass & Music
- 7 days
- Movie & Television
- 3 days
What is my checkout limit?
At the beginning of each month, you will have a maximum limit of seven items to check out in any format.
What if I want to check out more?
Once you have used up all seven checkouts for the month, you can get freebie checkouts on Bonus Borrows that are available on the last seven days of each month.
What is a BingePass?
BingePass includes digital magazines, movies, puzzles, comics, podcasts, documentaries and more. It allows unlimited access to curated lineup for seven days.
What is Kids Mode?
Kids Mode is a feature tool to allow parents to find family-friendly content for children 12 and under. To activate Kids Mode once logged into account, go to Settings at top right of page, and select ON under Kids Mode.

Sign up for hoopla with your library card at hoopladigital.com or download the hoopla app from your Apple, Android, Kindle Fire devices or on your smart tv’s.
How to access hoopla
To access hoopla, you will need your library card# and PIN (last four digits of your telephone number).
Instructions to log in:
- Visit the hoopla website
- Click “Get Started”
- Click “Let’s Go”
- Search your library name and select it
- Click “Next”
- Enter Library Card & PIN
- Enter Email and Password (between 8 – 40 characters)
- If email is associated with another library system’s hoopla account, provide a different email address.
