The Bryan + College Station Public Library System is holding a special “Invest in Our Planet” event on Friday, April 28 at 4:30 p.m., at Clara B. Mounce Public Library in Bryan to unveil its new Green Library Collection.
The new collection is funded through a grant from Keep Brazos Beautiful and features a mobile display of eco-friendly children’s books that feature topics like sustainability, recycling and gardening.
The special event will begin with a ribbon cutting and a reveal of the new collection, and will feature a children’s storytime session, book and gardening seed giveaways (while supplies last) and other family-friendly activities.
